Jisshu Ujjwal Sengupta is an Indian TV Actor, Producer, Television Presenter. Who mainly works in Bengali, Hindi and Telugu films. He was born on 15 March 1977. Sengupta made his debut through a Bengali TV series, Mahaprabhu, where he played the role of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu; This role put him in the public eye. Thereafter, he made his film debut with Priyojon (1998), which was a failure at the box office. In 2001, she played Tagore in Sukanta Roy’s ambitious venture Chelebela, playing the role of Kadambari Devi alongside Debashree Roy.

Vishwaroop Sengupta aka Jishu was born on 15 March 1977 in what is now Kolkata, West Bengal. He is the son of Mr. Ujjwal Sengupta, who is also a director of Bengali films. In 2005, he married Nilanjana Sharma, the elder daughter of film actress Anjana Bhowmick. They have two daughters, Sara and Zara. He is an ardent and experienced East Bengal fan.
