Saurabh Pandey is a young Indian television and Bollywood actor. He was born on 11 May 1988 in Janakpuri, Delhi, India. He rose to fame for his portrayal as Lord Krishna in the Sony Entertainment Television serial “Suryaputra” Karna in 2015–2016. His first TV show appearance as a lead was Siddharth Basu’s debut fiction TV show Jiya Jale for 9X TV (2006). Later he played the role of Shaurya in his second TV show Shaurya Aur Suhani for Star Plus channel. He appeared in lead roles in shows like Tere Mere Sapne, Ganga Ki Dheej and Razia Sultan.
Early life and education
Saurabh Pandey was born and brought up in a Hindu (Brahmin) household in New Delhi, India. He started his education in 1975 at “St. Mark’s Senior Secondary School, Janakpuri”. Saurabh furthered his education in Mussoorie from 1975–1980, where he studied at the Mussoorie Modern School for seven months and then later completed his education till class 12 at the Selaqui International School in Dehradun.

Saurabh got his first TV show with Siddharth Basu’s Big Synergy in 2005, titled “Jiya Jale”. The show aired on 9X channel. Jiya Jale was Big Synergy’s first fiction TV show in 2006. Aired in 2006, Saurabh played the lead role of Chandan Bhamani. He then starred in a second show, “Angad”, which was originally scheduled to air on 9X TV, but due to the closure of Angad TV, the show was relaunched by Star Plus. “As Shaurya and Suhani”. The romantic action based fantasy drama was not produced by Sanjay Wadhwa’s Sphere Origins. In it, Saurabh played the title role of the superhero Shaurya.
In September 2008, a show on Star Plus channel titled Tere Mere Sapne and Saurabh’s next show produced by Sanjay Wadhwa’s Sphere Origins. In this 2009 drama serial, Saurabh played the role of Sarju, a simple boy from a small village living his life in a big metropolis like Mumbai. Saurabh appeared in the TV show Ganga Ki Dheeraj in the year 2010. As of 2010 it was a joint venture between Harry Baweja’s Baweja Movies and Flying Turtle Films. The show aired on the channel “Sahara One” in 2011 and Saurabh played the role of Shivom.
